Used polysynths for a first hardware setup

Used analog polys for a first hardware setup: common parts, documented sounds, and a technician's check before you buy.

For a first analog poly, pick one that is easy to keep running. The used polys below have common replacement parts and well-documented sounds. Have a technician check any of them before you buy.

Start with a serviced Juno-106, which now usually sells for $1,000 to $2,200 used. If that is over budget, look at an Alpha Juno, a JX-3P with a programmer, or a serviced Polysix.
